Irish software company, Cora Systems, is to create more than 300 jobs, half of which will be in Ireland.
The positions will be in a range of specialties including research and development, global sales and marketing, and professional services.
150 of the roles will be based in the firm’s Carrick-On-Shannon headquarters, or nearby under a hybrid working policy.
The other half will be located in the business’s US offices.
100 will be added over the next year, with the balance to be appointed by 2024.
The Leitrim-based firm already employs 125 in Carrick-On-Shannon and in Bedford in the UK and Atlanta in the US.
Founded in 1999 by husband and wife team Philip Martin and AnneMarie Burke, the company provides enterprise project and portfolio management solutions and services.
“As a bootstrapped company, we’ve been able to focus not just on profitability but also on product innovation,” said CEO Mr Martin.
“During the pandemic, we invested €10 million in our people and product which has resulted in year-on-year growth of 330%. This puts Cora, globally, in an exclusive hyper-growth SaaS category.”
Mr Martin said the company has benefited from the restructuring of global supply chains, as its products have been used to deliver projects on time and on budget.
Around $100bn in projects are managed on its platform each day and it counts among its clients Honeywell, the NHS in the UK and Allergan Pharmaceuticals.
The development comes after the company secured €60m in new business since the start of the year.
It has also hired senior executives in the US and in Ireland.
The company works closely with Atlantic Technology University and takes students from there on work placement and a graduate programme.
