Minister for Foreign Affairs Simon Coveney will meet British Foreign Secretary Liz Truss in London this evening.
It will be the first opportunity for the ministers to meet in person since Ms Truss took over Brexit responsibilities, as well as the Foreign Secretary role.
The two have already held a long virtual meeting, which included a discussion on the Anglo-Irish relationship and co-guarantor aspect of the Good Friday Agreement.
Ms Truss took the Brexit position following the resignation of David Frost last month.
Mr Frost resigned with “immediate effect” in December, having previously agreed with British Prime Minister Boris Johnson that he would leave his job in January.
